I learned to crochet at seven, but knitting found me in my twenties, and more deeply after I moved north. Surrounded by long winters and shifting seasons, it became more than a hobby. It became a way of making, and a way of paying attention.

Over time, that path led me into spinning my own yarn and a deeper appreciation for the history of fiber arts, especially the generations of women who knit for warmth, necessity, and beauty. I’m drawn to that connection: to place, to tradition, and to the quiet practice of working with your hands.
